Staycations are set to be the trend, thanks to the impact of Brexit and corona-virus. Once lockdown rules begin to lift, and people plan their holidays, experts say it is likely more of us will be staying close to home rather than travelling abroad. Research shows a massive 84% of Brits are considering holidaying in the UK this year which will bring a much needed boost to the industry and preparations have begun.

Both the operators and suppliers to the Travel and Tourism industry are very happy to see this much needed staycation boost on the horizon. A bright outlook for subsequent years is waiting too, 2022 and beyond will also see higher rates of visitors as we are all reminded of the great experiences the UK has to offer, the beautiful countryside and some really great beaches.

They anticipate that we will all be indulging in our traditional favourites this summer. Ice cream, slush drinks and fish & chips will be the indulgence of many of us Brits.
