Machines using fresh milk ingredients should be regularly cleaned and sanitised in accordance with local food hygiene regulations. Snowshock recommends a maximum cleaning / sanitising interval of 48 hours under normal operating conditions.
The frozen drinks machine must be kept on freeze mode during opening hours and night mode (chill), out of hours.
Cleaning / sanitising routine includes re-lubricating the rubber seals. Shaft seals are to be replaced minimum every three months. An easily found Sanitiser we can recommend is Milton, which can be bought in tablet or liquid form. There are many others available.

Milk can damage your slush machines internal parts, it is very important to ensure it doesn’t get through the shaft by ensuring the seals are in perfect condition, lubricate during the cleaning cycle and replaced every 3 months.
